🤓 SIX Cheap, High Quality Stocks
Stay informed about events taking place in the stock market with a roundup of market-moving news, everyday.

Good Morning Investor! Today we’re going to be discussing not one, not two, but SIX companies that are both market leaders in their industries and trading at 52-week lows.
The market is often teeming with overzealous investors, salivating at the prospect of hopping aboard the next hype train. Sadly, this often leads to a painful derailment once the excitement fizzles out. More often than not, investing in fantastic businesses while they’re at their lowest is an easy way to outperform the market. It's like snagging a supermodel's number when they're having a bad hair day!
We've had much success following this formula, like when we pounced on shares of the Dutch fintech darling Adyen ($ADYEN) after its share price took a nosedive in August 2023. The stock was looking as dejected as a tulip after a harsh winter, thanks to some concerning earnings results and management's enthusiasm level failing to reassure shareholders, We gobbled up this stock hand over fist, and just a few months later - February 2024 - the share price had made a full recovery, rewarding us with a handsome 109% return.
A more obvious trade we've made here at Tickergeek was to buy up shares of Meta ($META) while market sentiment was lower than a limbo champion's bar. Back in January 2023, our idea was simple: the main social media business was a cash cow (mooo-ney, anyone?), and the company was burning through billions on virtual reality like a pyromaniac at a fireworks factory. We thought this VR spending spree was unsustainable, so we bought the stock while sentiment was at its lowest. Lo and behold, our prediction turned out to be correct - the VR spending stopped, and the share price shot up 283% to the present day.
Most recently, we've highlighted PayPal ($PYPL) as our third and final free stock pick, which we believe will deliver greater returns than the market over the coming 12-24 months. The recipe is simple: if nothing is fundamentally wrong with the business and market sentiment is in the dumps, load up the truck and wait. It's like buying a designer outfit from the clearance rack - it might be out of fashion now, but it'll be back in vogue before you know it!
Now, let's dive into the six companies we'll be discussing today.
